Next stop is Archaeological Museum of Izmir. Its filled with exhibits that showcase artefacts that go back as far as the very first days of ancient Smyrna. With more than 1,500 artifacts on display, you can easily spend a day wandering around the halls of this museum.

After Lunch you will continue to Kemeralti Bazaar where we see the famous Kizlaragasi Inn a beautiful example of 18th C Ottoman architecture. We can drink Turkish coffee in Kızlaragası Inn. You can see the many Turkish handicrafts, silver jewelrey, and antique stuff.

The Kemeralti Market is not only a historical area more than 300 years old, but also one of the best places to shop in Izmir.  Sights in the market include the marble fountain the Mayors Building, an important monument from the Turkish War of Liberation.
